Me and my soulmate. Cocoa Beach, FL 2015
About Me
Born and raised in New York, my love for music started early—thanks to my parents signing me up for drum lessons as a kid. Fast forward to college, and I discovered a new obsession when my roommate introduced me to a pair of Technics 1200 turntables. I fell in love with spinning records and reimagining beats, and I’ve never looked back.
Today, Future Stereo calls St. Augustine, Florida, home. I’m proud to bring inclusivity, creativity, and a fresh, modern approach to the wedding DJ scene in Northeast Florida.
Why St. Augustine? My wife and I fell head over heels for this charming area and even chose Cocoa Beach for our wedding. That’s us in the photo! One day, you’ll probably catch us as that old, romantic couple strolling hand in hand along Anastasia Island. #LoveGoals
What sets me apart is my passion for creating unique experiences, paired with a straightforward and hyper-creative approach. My goal? To curate an atmosphere that reflects your personality and captures the style of your wedding.
My lifestyle? I love surfing—but let’s be real, I’m probably the worst surfer in Florida. Feel free to say hi if you see me at the pier, around 3rd Street, or Butler Beach!
"I received texts from many of my guests after the wedding, complimenting what an amazing DJ he was!"

My Goal (#BestWeddingEver)
I will honor St. Augustine's rich history while offering a fresh, unique perspective that no other DJ can match.
My Values (I believe in love and freedom)
I'm proud to support marriage equality.
My Business Approach to Being a Wedding DJ in St. Augustine (Some people consider me very professional)
With twenty years of experience in rocking parties and refining the art of spreading good vibes, I bring a combination of creativity, professionalism, and authenticity to the North Florida wedding DJ space. Let's sit down together, order a coffee or a glass of wine, and dive into the music that resonates with you and your partner. We'll discuss the ambiance of your ceremony, how I'll set the tone for your reception, and if you want me to keep the party poppin' until the break of dawn. Overall, I listen to you and play the music you love.
My DJ Style (This makes me different)
As an open-format DJ, I'm equipped to infuse any genre of music into your event with the finesse of an authentic DJ. Need mashups? I have you. Clean transitions? Absolutely. Remixes both your cousin from Kentucky and you are going love? It depends on whether they're the "real country only" type or more of a pop-country fan. I'm down with classic George Strait music and the EDM-influenced Morgan Wallen remixes. Check out what Kim said in her Google review after her wedding. "...Every single guest raved about the incredible mixes and his impressive on-the-fly transitions."
My MC Approach (I'm a professionally trained MC)
I'm better than "good enough." Seriously. I'll match the atmosphere of your day. I'm also a graduate of the Marbecca School of Professional MCing. Overall, I'm a minimalist and only share what is essential to your guests.
My Philosophy (I'm the Socrates of this wedding industry)
You are not the same as last Saturday's couple. How could you be? "They Not Like Us." (quoting Kendrick on that one) Your wedding will match your style with custom-curated playlists your friends and family will love.
My Authenticity (No one is exactly like me or you)
I have genuine energy and a fresh vibe. I've DJed weddings all over the world, worked with a ton of unique wedding planners, and will never stop learning. Ask me about wedding traditions and modern trends. I don't know all of them, but I certainly know a lot of them and can share my "DJ's perspective" with you. Let's talk. Send me an email at Matt@FutureStereo.com.
My Passion for Music (My music knowledge is deep, like oceanography)
Music is at the heart of what I do. I'll curate the perfect soundtrack for your wedding (around 125-150 songs). There are millions of songs on Spotify/iTunes/Any streaming service, and I'll help craft a one-of-a-kind music mood board for you and your guests. Don't worry; I don't need WiFi to DJ your wedding, and I always build my playlists based on your style. Allow the music to complement the emotions of your day.
My Work Ethic (I'm an artist who understands my job and responsibility)
I don't bring a chair and almost never sit down at a wedding unless it's for a quick snack between cocktail hour and dinner. There's never time. I understand the value of your investment and the focus you deserve from your wedding vendors. To quote my client, Daniel P., "He was our favorite wedding vendor to work with, hands down (or up!)."
